BOOKING PROCEDURE

  • How do I book an apartment / villa?

    To book any of the properties listed in Home Around, simply choose the property, dates and guests, and you will be guided through the different steps.

  • Can I book any extra services?

    Yes, extra services are presented to you in Stage 2 of the booking process, after you have chosen the property. These services may vary according to the property and the destination you have chosen. If you require any service not specified, please inquire. We will gladly assist you.

  • When is the booking confirmed?

    Your reservation is confirmed when payment of the Down Payment has been processed.

  • What happens after the booking is confirmed?

    Home Around will send you a confirmation email that contains all relevant information concerning your booking and the rental agreement.

  • Does Home Around need any details from me after the booking is confirmed?

    Yes, Home Around needs your contact details (Name, Adress, Phone number, and Passport or valid Id) and information concerning your arrival (flight info, etc.)

  • Can I read the rental agreement before confirming my booking?

    Yes. Let us know and we will send it to you.

  • Can I know the property's exact address?

    The exact location is provided when the booking is confirmed and is sent to you in the confirmation email, together with the rental agreement and all other necessary relevant information.

  • I specify the number of guests and dates but the system shows no result?

    This happens when your choice of dates doesn't meet the minimum stay requirement, or when you choose more guests than permitted in the property.

PAYMENTS

  • When do I have to pay for the booking?

    Payment takes place in two different moments. First, when you book through Home Around. After this, you will also be required to pay the balance when you check-in in the apartment / villa.

  • Do I need to pay to book?

    Yes, a Down Payment is required to book any of the apartments / villas listed at Home Around. This Down Payment is a percentage of the total booking.

    There are also several options: bus or train, both Pl. Catalonia destination where you have to use other public transport to get to the apartments or taxi.

  • When do I pay for the extra services I have chosen?

    Extra services are paid in full when booking.

  • What is the booking total breakdown?

    Your Booking Total is broken down in the following items: rental, cleaning fee, extra services (if any), the Down Payment (paid at the moment of booking), the balance payment (paid when you check in), a security deposit (also paid at check-in), and a card handling fee if you choose to pay via credit card.

  • The system requires that I pay 100% of the booking, why?

    This only happens when your arrival date is less than one week away.

  • How much do I have to pay when I check-in?

    When you check-in, you will be required to pay the remaining balance of the booking, which is the Booking Total minus the Down Payment.

  • When I check-in, may I pay with credit card the balance of the booking?

    Only some apartments / villas accept credit card payment of the balance. Please inquire.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT

  • Who will be waiting for me in the apartment / villa?

    In the confirmation email that is sent to you when you confirm the booking, you have the contact details (name, telephone number and email) of the person who will be waiting for you at the apartment / villa exact location.

  • When can I check-in?

    As a general rule, check-in takes place from 4 p.m to 9 p.m. Later check-ins may have additional charges. Please inquire.

  • When do I pay for the extra services I have chosen?

    Extra services are paid in full when booking.

  • What is the booking total breakdown?

    Your Booking Total is broken down in the following items: rental, cleaning fee, extra services (if any), the Down Payment (paid at the moment of booking), the balance payment (paid when you check in), a security deposit (also paid at check-in), and a card handling fee if you choose to pay via credit card.

    You should leave the apartment / villa in a reasonable condition and take out the trash.

ARRIVAL TO THE APARTMENT / VILLA

  • How do I get to the apartment / villa?

    Home Around will provide you, in the confirmation email sent when the booking is confirmed, with all necessary indications to get to the apartment / villa. We also offer you our transfer service. Let us know if you need a transfer and we will make it available for you on the day you need it.

INSIDE THE APARTMENT / VILLA

  • Is the apartment / villa cleaned?

    All properties are cleaned before your arrival. If you require extra cleaning during your stay, you may book this extra cleaning in Stage 2 of the booking procedure.

  • Are bed linen and towels provided?

    All properties are cleaned before your arrival. If you require extra cleaning during your stay, you may book this extra cleaning in Stage 2 of the booking procedure.

  • Are utilities included?

    Utilities (water, gas and electricity) are included in the paid reservation. However, Home Around and/or the owner reserve the right to charge a supplement if there is irresponsible behavior that leads to an extraordinary consumption of such utilities.

  • Is breakfast included?

    Home Around may provide a Breakfast Basket upon request. Please inquire.

  • Does the apartment / villa have Internet connection included in the paid reservation?

    Most of the apartments / villas include Internet in the reservation. Properties that charge extra fees for Internet connection have this specified in the property description.

  • Are pets allowed inside the properties?

    Pets are allowed only if specific permission has been given when confirming your booking. Please inquire.
