Barcelona's chicest walkway, full of designer shops, exclusive hotels and high-end restaurants even if you're not in the mood for buying it's worth browsing. This is a lively street with an air of elegance, yet still remains fairly unpretentious. If you're looking for make-up, electronics, and unique furniture, this is a great street to check out. In addition to the clothing and shoe shops there's a host of other stores that you won't find in the Old City. Rambla Catlunya is ideal for finding out of the way places, and niche shopping. It's also a nice place to grab a bite or a coffee while people watching.
Rambla Catalunya Apartment City Center is very near the following clinincs; Barraquer, Planas, Teknon, Dexeus, Quirón, Sagrada Familia, Vall d´Hebrón Hospital and Sant Pau Hospital.
It is also near the following schools: ESADE, IESE, UIC, UPC, CEA.
Passeig de Gràcia is the main artery of the new Eixample. It was created in 1860 when the city walls were demolished. Following the Cerdà plan, the district was built with money from the wealthy families of Barcelona. The bourgeois of the city were competing in aesthetic refinement with the construction of their modernist buildings. The interiors and facades were richly decorated with the most diverse materials. The Eixample dreta (right side of the district) goes from Balmes Street to paseo Sant Joan and the street of Naples. You can find there several of the main places of interest in Barcelona such as Plaça Catalunya, Passeig de Gracia, la Pedrera, Casa Batlló, etc.
